Name: Gwen Ladd CommentsDan, Is that a program that you downloaded? I use a canon SX110IS with 10X zoom and am curious whether I can salvage some of my videos that I didn't post because of distortion. Appreciate your help!
Name: Daniel Cherry Commentshttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pq58M6geaf4 Heres a video of osha Gwen Ladd, I used a canon s5is camera and adjusted the sound with a program called Vegas platinum 9 to adjust sound levels.I had a hard time getting it to sound half way decent.I made 2 sound tracks so its like quad sound.
Name: Gwen Ladd CommentsDan, I'm glad you caught that on tape 'cause I was too close to the speaker and mine was too distorted to post. What were you using to tape with? I like the sound quality! I finally got mine all posted as well and in watching them got all psyched up again for next year. Thank you to ALL the people that put the Ramble together, ALL the musicians,ALL the fans for another great RAMBLE!!!

Name: teresa kowalik wood CommentsThe Ramble was fabulous, as always! It was very meaningful to me, especially this year for 3 reasons! First and foremost, my husband sang! Congratulations to Charlie Wood, Jim Campobello, Dave and Sam for a terrific DEBUT set!! You all worked SO HARD! Hope to hear you again next year. Also, did any of you get to hear The Fraterrigo Family?? They are my cousins and really are "a breath of fresh air!" That's what they call themselves. The Daily News got some great photos. Google THE BATAVIAN and search the Ramble for lots of pics! Finally, a big CONGRATS to my brother, Wally and Billy Mac for the new song you wrote and performed called "No More." I think that one is going somewhere!

Nowadays I live in St. Pete FL, play keys and bass in the "Ocean Road" one-nighter band. I will be up in Bflo for the 4th to see relatives and plan on seeing you all at the Ramble. Until then, happy trails. Joe T.

Name: Rich Lullo CommentsFirst and more importantly I'm happy our friend Jim LaPorte made it through the severe problems that Nashville just went through. I also wanted to let you know I am bringing a very good friend to the Ramble who I've played with in Houston on and off for the past 15+ years. Dallas Foster is originally from Georgia and has been in Houston for many years. A very good vocalist and he still fronts the band "Just Got Lucky" in Houston who I play with about a dozen times a year. Don Willard and Chaz & Anthony Del Plato are going to play a set and a friend or two more from Batavia are going to help do a throw down at the Ramble. FYI: Dallas is the guy I wrote about a while ago who had a heart transplant about 11 years ago who almost did not make (he will be 51 years old in July). He's a great example of what a second chance in life will allow you do. I just wish I had 20% of his stage energy! Thought I'd pass this on and looking forward to seeing everybody in July! Hey Willie - keep the rain away!!!!!
Name: Dave P CommentsJim, The news reports were so dramatic and frighting, I thought of you and the mess you were in. So good to hear you're doing well. Denise and I spent the weekend on the lake and experinced 75 mph winds on sat. scared the shit out of me. My dock got pretty battered but no real problems. We've had a very nice spring and have been on the water alot for this early in the year. The water is still in the 40s. Great to here from you old friend and hope to see you soon. Zoom
Name: Guitar Boy CommentsHey Zoom, thanks for thinking of me...my house is fine, I live on a hill....my yacht club got hit hard...located on Cumberland River....I had recently installed 20 ft. spud-poles on all of the docks....good move, saved the docks from floating out into the lake...had to disconnect electrical and water supply...pretty good shape now, except for all of the debris on the shoreline....it's a mess......my jet-ski's really came in handy for getting around the lake during this disaster.........hope all is well with you & yours old friend.....do you have your cottage & boat ready yet for the summer season? I'm going to send you some boating T-shirts from the yacht club.....that's all for now....take care, jim
Name: Zoom CommentsI hope gaitarboy is doing ok at his marina on the river in nashville. I've been thinking of you jim and hope your doing ok. what a mess!!

Name: jkandl Commentsthanks, Bruce, for relaying this sad news, hard as it is. Rusty was an artist with the true creative spirit. He lived for it. I remember his joy constructing ceremic murals in the co-op we had at the old industrial center. So much else. A very bright soul. I'm saddened and stunned that he's no longer here with us. So soon....

Name: Bruce Sanderson "Cousin Brucie" CommentsI know some of you know him and may already know him, but I just found out. He wasn't a musician, even though he did like music. He was an artist and a close friend. So close I didn't even know he died. That's a statement about me, not him. In November Russel "Rusty O'Geen" of Leroy died. You all may remember his pottery or his Lillies. I tried to call in Feb. the first part. I had been meaning to call after the holidays. I got a discontinued phone. I thought maybe he had moved. When I did a google search yesterday, I found he had died in November. I hadn't kept in touch with his daughter or other friends of his that maybe could have told me. Probably my best friend I ever had and I didn't even know he died. I realize now when I think of getting in touch with old friends by calling or writing I had better do it or else I'll be getting more of these terrible Google blurbs, by the way your best friends dead. To all his family and friends he will be missed and I miss him dearly.
Name: Kevin CommentsHappy Birthday Mike...you old goat! Wish I was there to have a few cold ones with you friend!! Have a great day!
Name: CommentsDid you know that "WKBW" originally was a religious orientated radio station and the call letters stood for "World Known Bible Works." Pretty cool huh! "WSM" from Nashville originally was owned by an insurance company. The call letters stood for "We Shield Millions." Now you're all a little smarter. Pass it on.
Name: Geo. CommentsUpon second listen, you've gotta download the first 45 minutes, at a minimum. It is a trip. The Beatles we love you song is on there. We love you Beatles, oh yes we do, and Sammy Davis too.
Name: Geo. CommentsWithin the first 60 minutes of the Joey Reynolds Show from 1965, the Beatles were played 3 times, all different songs. Some of the other music is bizarre. The Trashman had a follow up to the Surfin' Chicken, did you know that? There's a good Johnny Cash song on there too. This is pre Yardbirds, Kinks, Rolling Stones and Byrds. The Beatles ruled without contest. They even had the Beatles Fan book for sale for $1.00. Anybody got a couple hundred of them stashed somewhere? It even sounds like my radio did, funkily authentic.
Name: Geo. CommentsThanks, Paul. I had forgotten that everyone referred to WKBW as KB. I probably listened to this live when I was eleven. Ha ha, I never knew what Joey Reynolds looked like but I had a much different picture in my mind.
Name: Paul Rapp CommentsHi everybody: A music biz pal just sent me an entire WKBW Joey Reynolds radio show from February 25, 1965. It's pretty mind-blowing and a lot of fun. I posted it as an MP3 download at splattofestival.blogspot.com. Enjoy, and merry Christmas!
Name: Geo. CommentsIt's an Amazon.com Christmas. Everything anyone wants with none of the hassle. They even did a crappy wrapping job on most of it. Just like I would have done.
Name: WesCoast CommentsWell I finally joined facebook (I wonder if Jim Kessler knows he ended up with a website!) OK, it's fun...but hey gang THIS is where the music lives! Don't ignore the message board, weve had some great memories dusted up and what a soundtrack. There...I said mah piece!
Name: Don Willard CommentsHappy Holidays Ramblers. I hope this season is the best for all of you!

We're selling raffle tickets to benefit OCALS initiatives including tutor training for family literacy programs. We believe that literacy is truly effective when it is embraced and engaged by caregivers. Please take a look at the attached image and consider purchasing a $1 raffle ticket. The painting is being exhibited at several sites throughout Orleans County. If you travel about those parts, you may have seen it in Holley at Dr. Shiavon's dental office or in Medina at The Book Shoppe. This week it's at Yates Community Library in Lyndonville (until Saturday) and will travel to Swan Library next week. We'll draw the winning name at a closing reception at Elsewhere Cafe, 120 N. Main St., Albion, next Friday, December 18 from 6 - 8 p.m. "Read to Me" would make a lovely gift to give - or keep for yourself. It's enduring themes of love, commitment, and sharing are truly universal at this time of year.

Name: CommentsAlso what Don said. What a great thing friendship is. Keep up the great playing, Rich.
Name: Friend of the Ramble CommentsRich, Ditto what Don said. Great Story.
Name: Don Willard CommentsRich, What a great story and inspiration this is to all of us. Thanks for sharing some great Texas-style blues rock. This is just another example of just how precious life is and what we should be thankful for everyday, not just Thanksgiving. By the way, your guitar work is outstanding as always and "The Thrill is Gone" #65 is amazing! Dallas Foster is one very lucky guy and you can hear that in every note he sings. Give him our best and have a great holiday season.
Name: Rich Lullo CommentsWanted to thank Mike for posting a few tunes from a band I played in Houston about 15 years ago and where I now sit in every once in a while. The very cool thing about this band is the singer, a very good friend of mine by the name of Dallas Foster. This recording is at Dallas's 50th birthday party this past June. When we started playing some 15 years ago Dallas was about 35 years old. Then about a year before his 40th birthday, out of the blue his heart gave out. No symptoms prior to the week he became very tired and could not sleep. He was in the hospital for a year in pretty bad shape and at the age of 40 he received a new heart. So his 50th party was actually his 10th party (new heart thing) which I think is pretty cool. Anyway that is Dallas belting out the tunes on tracks 62-65 in the Just Got Lucky Band in Houston, Texas. Thought it's a pretty good story you might enjoy. And he's one hell of a singer. Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season.
Name: Michael Murray CommentsRich Lullo mailed me a CD of him sitting in with his old band "Just Got Lucky".

Name: Michael Murray CommentsThe recent Facebook changes were meant to make the site more "usable". I'm not sure they were 100% successful.
I found this bit of info by searching on Google.
Name: Don Willard CommentsDoes anyone have any comments on the new Facebook changes when you log in? I am a little confused to say the least.
Name: Michael Murray CommentsRich, thanks for the kind words.
Name: Rich Lullo CommentsAfter the past few years watching the Ramble website I wanted to again thank Mike Murray for his continued work in keeping this site alive and well. With FaceBook and Tweeter taking off in a big way recently and with so many of the Ramble users both sites I think we've all see a bit of a drop with postings here. That being said this offers a very unique medium by allowing us to look at some very, very cool pictures submitted by a bunch of folks who had saved and shared memories of the past 40+ years. Plus the site has been the focal point for the annual July Ramble in Batavia which is still something very special that most cities do not have. Along with Mike there is a big handful of folks who really make this thing happen. Bill McDonald's input seems monumental along with a handful of other friends. Keep up the great work and thanks for keeping it going..... On another I was able to catch the Allman Brothers Band in Houston this past week. The show was outstanding and if you should have the chance to see these guys I think you agree. And as frosting on the cake I was Crosby, Still and Nash a few weeks before catching the ABB. Amazing these guys are still alive after all the roads they've traveled and yet the also put on an amazing show that was just short of three hours long.......Regards from Houston......Rich

Name: Michael Murray CommentsThanks for the post, Babe. It's a little hard to read as the Ramble Message Board doesn't handle linefeeds and carriage returns very well (no matter how it looks in the area you type or copy and paste into to). But your post is well worth the effort it takes to read and I recommend everyone do so. It is another tribute to the fact that musicians don't play to be adored or idolized. They do it in the hope that their efforts will bring a smile to the audiences' faces.

Seriously old friend, you're not alone....here's a response I wrote in reply to a letter from my old friend in the Corps; check it out right after my response to his. His name's Bruce.... played in the drum line, know him since maybe 1060 or '61, and who I got a chance to drum with again last Sat. His letter really got me goin' too!! Thanks, Vic Sent: Thursday, October 01, 2009 2:07 PM Subject: Re: E-mail-A-Friend: Crossroads benefit concert packs them in Man, Bruce...now I'm gettin' teary eyed! ....we're all turning into a bunch a sentimental wussies! Seriously, you're sincere words mean a lot to me old buddy. I know they come from the heart. That's what it was like for me playing Saturday night. Straight from the heart. The warmth and positive energy coming off of that audience was palpable. It was like one huge extended family getting together and celebrating life and the people, friends, and parents who are gone, but not forgotten. More than a celebration..a reaffirmation! There were so many variables that would have made this performance NOT happen, that I'm amazed that we pulled it off, ...and then some! What a gas. I did not anticipate it all happening as it did. Made me feel humbled and proud at the same time. I'm SO glad I/we did this. Love ya, man. Vic To: viccionetti@comcast.net Sent: Wednesday, September 30, 2009 9:50 PM Subject: Re: E-mail-A-Friend: Crossroads benefit concert packs them in My friend - I thought if I waited long enough I could write this to you without getting emotional - but,,, it's not working. Of all the thoughts and excitement I had looking forward to the concert weekend - I never imagined it would generate so much emotion for me as I sat through your performance. There we were spending so much time together - good friends all around us for several days - having the fun and pleasure of drumming again with the guys - just hanging out and enjoying every minute of it. I watched your rehearsals with a lot of pride and enjoyment. I was watching and listening to a good friend of mine that I knew had this wonderful gift of musical talent - I had heard all about it from other people - listened to it on CD - but now for the first time I could sit there and watch him not only play his horn but direct 20 other musicians to play his music - his arrangements. It was getting pretty intense. It was getting magical.. Then I sat in the audience Saturday night - watching and listening - I was just in such a good place right then. So many of the guys we played with in the corps in the percussion section - they were having the best time and enjoying it as much as anybody in the place. No matter how good I thought the rehearsals were before this - this was really happening - IT WAS SO GOOD!! I don't know when the emotion started but it came on in a flood - I tried to let it pass but it wasn't happening - then you began "Song for My Parents" and they showed a picture of your Mom and Dad - and that was it. I was done for the rest of the night. I knew I would not be able to get into a conversation with you after that without looking like some emotional train wreck. So I just kept a low profile(?) ( I don't know if I had ever kept a low profile before then). As I was leaving the hotel Sunday morning I ran into your drummer and keyboard player as they were leaving and began to tell them how much I enjoyed their performance and what a good night it was - and I could feel myself beginning to fill up again and I had to cut it short and get on my way. It was the best night Vic. I loved every note - of every song - and I am so pleased to have had the opportunity to see you perform in person - especially in that environment. I don't know how to end this - but I know what a special thing it is to be able to call you my friend. Best regards, Bruce -----Original Message----- From: Vic Cionetti <viccionetti@comcast.net> To: Fres Stone <fstone@rochester.rr.com>; Sent: Tue, Sep 29, 2009 6:54 pm Subject: Fw: E-mail-A-Friend: Crossroads benefit concert packs them in Dear FRIENDS! Words can't describe how I feel right now, let alone, how that show turned out last Saturday night....but, (never known for my brevity :) I'm gonna give it a shot: Our concert went waaay beyond any expectations I might have had, and at times, the emotions running thru me were overwhelming. I felt that I might really lose it during "Song for My Parents". And, I've yet to see the accompanying video, 'cause I knew that if I glanced up during the performance, I'd blow it! But half way thru the song, I felt an underlying sense of support I'd never felt before. Sort of like someone holding you up under your shoulders. What an audience! What a great group of musicians! What a night! Thank you, thank you, thank you all so much for being there...gettin' the equipment there...and for being the greatest friends this extremely lucky guy could ever ask for. Getting to play some of my music with all you old friends participating or in attendance, with most of my family there too... plus that warm and welcoming Batavia filled audience... my God, we did only 5 tunes.... and were rewarded with 2 standing ovations. ...AND later, drummin' again wit' da boyz of "St. Joe's" legendary drumline again.....too much. Thomas Wolfe....I've gotta tell you, you're wrong buddy, "You CAN go home again". Last Saturday was the most rewarding and fulfilling musical and spiritual night of my life. I am sincerely grateful and indebted to all "youseguys" for your friendship and support to make this happen. Magical night. Now, that I'm back in front of my computer, sitting here in Denver, thinking "Did that really happen?" No question, Hell YES, IT DID!! THAT just filled up MY bucket list. Mike, can't you hire me for Ramble 2010??? I promise not to roller skate again while recording....and oh, does anyone know what a tripod is? All kidding aside, I enjoyed watching and listening to all the videos you guys posted. Thanks for taking the time out to give us some memories to reflect upon! Peace, Kay
Name: jk CommentsIs that Ray or George?
Name: Anonymous CommentsJohn, Steve Huff would have caught anymous, oh and me too. It is almost impossible to comment on someone else's error without making one in the process. You no what I mean? Hell yeah you know.
Name: John Kandl CommentsMike, Well said. I also like to point out that the offensive (and anymous) e-mail was ungrammatical and very badly punctuated.
Name: Paul Almeter CommentsAt the risk of stirring up yet another hornet's nest.... the Eddings Mancuso/Mancuso video productions are excellent as well! Why not just sit back and enjoy all this good work and bask in the memories!
Name: Dj Geo Jay - Ray's best friend for life CommentsGwen, no good deed goes unpunished. Don't I know it. It bums me out when a video I made out of love for the music gets thousands of views and YouTube threatens my account for Copyright violations. It makes me have a hard time liking the music as much, anymore. Keep doing it if you enjoy it as much as I do and don't take negative comments to heart. I'm a "Hick Bitch" to some of my nicer viewing audience. I don't know why that doesn't offend me. Maybe because I'm a hick bitch. Yeah, that's probably it.

Name: mary sherwood michienzi CommentsWe just returned from our visit back home to batavia. it was short but sweet, love this time of year. We didn't have a chance to hear any of our favorite bands but were pleasently surprised to hear some live local music at the leRoy Farmers Market on saturday morning, located downtown leroy behind Pontillos pizza. They had a CD of Leroy Native via scotland Bill Brady, nice acoustic with original lyrics. My cousin Steves son is also a regular there, his name is alan tomidy and forgive me for bragging, he is very talented. If you are in town check it out. i hope all is well with everyone. Take care:) Mary

Name: Don Willard CommentsMike, I purchased the 2009 Beatles stereo remasters of Sgt. Pepper & The White Album. There is a huge difference in sound quality, especially the vocal mix,a tighter bass and overall sonic freshness.. like it was recorded yesterday! Some of the backround instrumentation also comes through a lot cleaner. The boys at EMI/APPLE did a great job. I have not heard any of the mono remasters yet.
Name: Kanye West CommentsThis Ramble Music & Arts Fest website is pretty good and I'm gonna let you see it,
Name: Friend of The Ramble CommentsMike, I haven't heard the new mix yet but I share your passion for their music. I have a friend who has been a Beatle fan sense she was 13. She just turned 20 and she still loves them so some of the younger generation are already fans, But there's always room for more. The music kids listen to these days leaves a lot to be desired. Funny.... That's the same thing my dad said to me in 1964.... Go figure.

Name: debi worth Commentshi all, wow, it's been a long while since iv'e spouted any words of wisdom on here. (please guys, let me own that 'wisdom' part, it's good for my flagging self esteem.) first i want to say that it sounds like ramble 09 was a huge success. talk about people coming together and 'gitten' 'er done! kudos batavians for pulling it off. i was so bummed that i couldn't make it. but as the chicago cubs always say......"next year". mike, is that date set for sure? i finally got my british passport, after six aggravating months of trying, and so we are for sure going to england and ireland in june. i just want to be sure i'm here for the ramble. i've cyber-met so many fun people i can't wait to meet them all. i've only made one ramble and it's just not enough! you guys are awesome, putting in all of your time and effort and making so many people happy. vic c., i think i nodded off while reading your post. no offense. lol. in fact, mine is getting a little long here isn't it? but i do want to say vic, that i love the simpatico cd and i adore the back cover picture of you and your father. i bought two cd's and sent one to a friend to enjoy also. pattie, don't feel bad about selling that bad acid. i'm still getting flashbacks from it and it's free!!! bonus! lol mike, i love the jukebox. thanks. ok, shutting up now. wishing peace to you all. debi

Name: George R. CommentsMike, this is the most complete musical history of Batavia on the planet. You have the ingredients for a great Coffee Table Book. Every bit of it is timeless archival material that should be maintained for the future. You are the local John Lomax and a fine musicologist as well as webmaster. Remember to direct customers to Marchese's for their local computer needs. I really do check the webcam, several times a day, and for some reason it makes me feel good. I also have all of the Lookout Ridge and Slim Chicken tunes in a file on my desktop, that I listen to too often. I appreciate it and I think almost everyone who has ever visited the page feels likewise.
Name: Michael Murray CommentsBill McDonald and I were talking about the Ramble website just last night. He said that Facebook, My Space, and Twitter have turned the Ramble Message Board into a ghost town.
Name: Humey CommentsI agree with the last message. I check almost daily for news form the great north. And nothing since The Ramble. Lets keep this an informative webpage. Just recently returned from a 6 week vacation up there. It was great. My first Ramble,I'm impressed with the organization that goes into the show. My compliments to all the organizers. I saw people I hadn't seen since grade school. Also saw Gov't Mule at the waterfront in Buffalo, what a great venue that is. Well that's all for now. I miss all you Ramblers!

Name: Don Willard CommentsLes Paul, who invented the solid-body electric guitar later wielded by a legion of rock 'n' roll greats, died Thursday 8/13 of complications from pneumonia. He was 94. Name: Bill McDonald CommentsGwen, Thank you so much for your efforts filming all your videos and getting them to Mike, as part of everyone's 2009 Ramble. It was a challenge getting from one stage area to another, with all the Ramblers in attendance and sure you were meeting and socializing with friends along the way, which took your time..... Great job!!!!! Bill
Name: CommentsI am so sorry that I missed some of the bands at the Ramble. It was my intent to get at least one or two songs from each of the performers. I seriously underestimated # of GB needed and didn't realize right away that there was action out on the patio. Didn't mean to slight anyone. You were ALL incredible! I'll try to do better next year. Mike, thanks for labeling and posting my videos on the Ramble site. I am sooooo computer illiterate....surprised I figured out how to get them on youtube. Anxiously awaiting Kaycam videos! Name: Chas DP CommentsHey Wally... Was I there? Time has been flying by so fast. I went to one shindig at the Country Club this year and got to sit in for one tune, I forget off hand what it was all about. I'm going through Julius withdrawal at the moment. Chas
Name: Wally CommentsHey Chas DP...and everyone...The mini-Ramble idea is what Billy Mac had in mind when we played the Batavia Country Club in April. Recall that he posted a couple of notes to that effect prior to the date. The turnout was not as good as we hoped, but Karen at the Club seems to be open to these shows. My vote is to do it again this fall..like last year, the Wed before T-Bird Day was a smash...packed house. Maybe Willie wants to weigh in with his thoughts. PS: Your son is a monster guitar player! The apple sure landed close to the tree.
Name: CommentsJust an idea mentioned by someone who hasn't been "home" in quite awhile. They said next year we should have "Hello, My Name Is" Badges. I'm sure there were a lot of people there we knew but didn't recognize after 30 years.
Name: Chas DP CommentsUH OH.... I just had another scary thought.... I heard so many people refer to the setting at T.F. Brown's as being intimate. How about a bi-annual event? We wouldn't be restricted by the weather so we could hold the event in the winter months(as long as it doesn't interfere with my hockey games). We could make it a mini-Ramble or as Rick likes to call it "The Ramble Jamble". We wouldn't need a big P.A. system, we could pool our resources. Anyway....just a thought. Chas

Name: Chas DPc CommentsSpeaking of T.F. Brown's... I had set up the "Ramble Jamble"(post ramble jam) with Rick at TF's and called him on Friday to confirm the gig. While on the phone we discussed the eminent precipetation and the approaching green, yellow, and red blobs on the weather map. My plan was to ask Rick about the possibility of holding the Ramble at TF's in case of a rain out. You see I had multiple concern's in this year's Ramble and did not want to see it go by the wayside. I think Rick answered my question before I had a chance to ask him. So.... after speaking with Rick I sent this email to Bill McDonald: Hello Bill... I just spoke with Rick at TF Brown's.... He said if the Ramble is a wash-out, We could hold it at His place. He has the tent outdoors, and the main stage could be indoors. I would hate to see it go by the wayside with so many people coming in from so long a distance, and all of the work everyone put into it. The acoustics aren't to shabby there either. Chas <end of email> We'll knowing that Rick always treated the musicians well when we gigged there I was hoping everything would fall into place. I told Bill Mac to contact Rick at TF's directly so that nothing would get lost in the translation. I'm just glad everything worked out. It went from "Ramble Scramble" to "Ramble Rumble" (thunderstorm) to the "Ramble Jamble". Now I'm just Rambling with this message. Anyway... No more "Ramble Jamble's" for me, too much work, but I can't wait to see what next year's Ramble brings. Chas
Name: gail williams CommentsThank you to all who made my first Ramble a blast! It was great to see my friends. The music was great, along with the people.... Thanks! xxx gail
Name: Michael Murray CommentsHello to all. My sincere regrets for missing this year's Ramble Music & Arts Fest. Other matters required my full attention and I was unable to travel to Batavia to participate. From what I've seen on www.thebatavian.com and www.batavianews.com, it was very successful despite the weather's lack of co-operation and that a great time was had by all. I can't wait to see the videos and photos that people have taken. Let me know if I can help with the posting and sharing of them. Looking forward to seeing everyone next year.

Name: Chas DP CommentsHey Bill.... What's the line up for next years 2010 Ramble? Did you check the long range weather forecast? It was great to see so many folks from the days gone by. My head is still spinning, all I had was Sierra Mist,,, must have been the chicken wings. What a thrill to play with Julias this year, the Chaplain Rhythm section, the solid bass of Don Willard, the screaming Hammond of Bill Mancuso, Greg Fox tinkling the Ivory's, Woody Rowclife and his golden Voice, which by the way inspired me to go the the Library and take out some old Jerry Lewis videos, and my son Anthony Shredding on the Almann tunes. Great job by John D. and his sound company. Then there is Rick of TF Browns... I know that most of the time I am not at a lost for words, only when I'm singing Whiter Shade of Pale, but.... Name: Vicki CommentsThis music is fantastic! Risking ignorance, but what genre is it? Ended up here completely by a happy accident looking at old Adak Alaska photos. Lucky find.
Name: Pattie CommentsWell, the Sciacca clan is excited and looking forward to seeing old friends and family. We'll all be there - Nancy, Angelo, Sam, Pattie and Shirley - making a family reunion out of it. My sister Nancy taught many of you in high school, but she only seems to remember the "trouble-makers". You know who you are. Sam played with some of you for a short time and is looking forward to some familiar faces. I'm looking forward to meeting new friends made on FaceBook and collecting debts from the NBA Championship Series! See you all soon.

Name: CommentsIt's a good thing it didn't happen closer to you if it took six days for you to hear about it!!!
Name: Earthquake in Attica???? CommentsAn earthquake registering 2.9 on the Richter Scale occured near Attica on Friday morning, according to the United States Geological Survey. The earthquake occured around 11:30 a.m. The epicenter of the earthquake was 3 miles south/southeast of Attica. It lasted between five and ten seconds. Debbie Kaiser of the Village of Attica Police Department said it shook everything in the village area. Dorann O'Neil of 72 North St. in Attica spoke with us yesterday and she says things were quiet one minute – and all shook up the next. The quake was the result of a shift on the nearby Clarendon-Linden fault line. No injuries have been reported in the incident.

Name: Michael Murray CommentsA few new songs just uploaded to the Ramble Jukebox. Kevin Moyles fronted a band in San Diego in the mid-80s called The Procrastinators. I received these songs a few months ago, but I'm just now getting around to uploading them. I thought that was funny. Think about it. Tom Quinn was the lead guitarist in The Procrastinators and also played on Kevin's CD that included The Cows Are Coming Home which is also on the Ramble Jukebox.
Name: Phil McCraken CommentsMost definitely. Happy Birthday to Debi Worth! Phil McCraken

Name: dan Commentsthanks for the info.Hope to see ya there..i like the idea of the big jukebox..
Name: CommentsThanks for the info, it never hurts to ask, right?
Name: Michael Murray CommentsAbsolutely correctomundo, my good friend Geo. Good catch. Shuffle Mode is an option only enabled on the Lil' Jukebox so it didn't always start at the beginning of the list (not that there's anything wrong with that!).
Name: Geo. CommentsAnother jukebox difference is that the small one plays in shuffle mode whereas the Big Jukebox plays in album mode. If I want to hear just one band I can click on their first tune and the rest of their songs will follow. I like having that option.
Name: Michael Murray CommentsYou are correct - both Jukeboxes contain the same songs. The only difference is their size. Each has its own advantages and disadvantages. The Lil' Jukebox continues to play regardless of what other pages you navigate to. But because of its small size, browsing for a particular song or reading the scrolling text at the top can be a little difficult. The Big Jukebox opens in its own full sized page just to make browsing for a particular song or reading the scrolling text at the top a bit easier. The only drawback to two jukeboxes is they will both play at the same time. So if you switch from one Jukebox to the other, just remember to click Pause or Stop button on one of them.
Name: Commentswhat is the point of two juke boxes when they are the same?
Name: CommentsHello, Hello, anyone out there?

Name: CommentsMost people don't know that back in 1912, Hellmann's mayonnaise was manufactured in England. In fact, the Titanic was carrying 12,000 jars of the condiment scheduled for delivery in Vera Cruz, Mexico, which was to be the next port of call for the great ship after its stop in New York. This would have been the largest single shipment of mayonnaise ever delivered to Mexico.
Name: Pattie Harris CommentsDearest David: You're on!! But sorry - Laker's are going all the way this year. Hopefully, the Rockets will just be a stepping stone.
Name: dan Commentsyea happy bithday

Name: Michael Murray CommentsHappy Birthday Wishes to Jimmy Steel Duvall !!!
Name: daniel cherry Commentsi thought i'd share this video. The Ohms band. Even Edith got to play the bongo's. She looked very happy. It was at the mall/city centre in batavia on 4-24-09. I am a member of the Place to be social club. They have done alot of great things for people like i with a mental illness. They are there for support. Like say in 1997 i was in jail. In jail they just refuse people meds. They helped me when no one else would. Most people have a family. The boys and i are the family. If i have problem i can call and Ellen Plasso she will help me. With mental illness comes a stigma. Years ago i worked at arc. Those are special people. They love everyone with no what is that word? judging you. Alot of people with a mental illness have special talents. And yes music can calm the soul. I have been to the music group at the social club a few times. Charlie plays sometimes. I know i'm not a pro like he is. But i play guitar and have learned a few songs. But most important i like the feeling it gives. When its over i just want to keep going. One day a guy there sang knocking on heavens door. I like that song. And he looked so happy. I felt really good after wards. Music can heal wounds. Life is hard sometimes. Well most of the time it is. Especially when your not socialite. And you don't fit in anywhere. I was listenin to the song steve is better than me who hell is steve?? lol. O i got sidetracked ok i slapped myself senseful. My thing i am better at is images. Yes i love photography. Ansel adams was great. I found a book at the sally(Salvation Army). Annie Leibovitz. man she is good i think shes alive still. And she did the last image of John Lennon 10 minutes before he died. The one with him wrapped around yoko the singer. I think it's an obsession with me. Like say i don't bring my camera i always see something that i wanted to take a pic of darn. Images are important. I have thousands. After the horrible hurricane. I saw on tv this lady she had a picture. And that is all she had left. And she was hugging that picture. It's something that can not be replaced. An image is like your eyes are. Only it can last a long time mabe forever. It's late. Man i want to go to that guitar show. Was paul stanley wrecked when he designed the soverign special? It's such a nice guitar. If yer sittin down. Cause its unbalanced for the strap. I bet i could get a good trade on the aria pro 2. But it has a special significance to me. See eeeheem. One night my first x got jealous. Well she threw my handmade teak like springsteen guitar in the tonawanda. Well it may seem funny now it was not in 1987. An she got me this one the aria. She got mad again an broke in 3 vine and it was evidence at leroy pd no kiddin. Does anyone remember the primitive scene haystack? Yea across from the fairgrounds in the late 70's. I remember the Trolls yea those were the days eh? I am glad that the Ramble Music and ART fest is such a success. I enjoyed it very much. Not too much like say in the 70's.When i had too much enjoyment and how the heck did i wind up in jail? What ever happened to the Band Southbound? Didn't Tallas play at the fair once? The thrill is gone is on the ramble jukebox an it rockss. Westside blues. Where would rock be without the blues? motorcycle mamma? Where are the trolls on the jukebox? I like that brother wind.sounds like whos that activist that cleaned up the hudson he's 90? I don't drink much. I only drank 1/2 a can o beir. It was one big can. To think of it music can leave an image on your mind brothers wind does.damn that old hippie reunion is great.. whoa i wish i could have been there for sunshine of your love after last years ramble. osha that was great.. the place to be mother nature is great.wow. peace to all. And to all a good life....dan
Name: David CommentsDear Ms Harris, Please dont write Houston off. Lets wait a couple of games. Anyway I'll bet you a dollar. If the Lakers win I'll bring it to the Ramble or give it to Rich Lullo to bring. Go Rockets!!
Name: Pattie Harris CommentsI am really excited about the Ramble this year and seeing so many old friends. However, right now I'm MORE excited about our Lakers and beating Houston. Scared about Cleveland though! Any other Laker fans out there?

Name: Michael Murray CommentsThe poster for the 2009 Ramble Music & Arts Fest is
nearly finished and we thought we'd give everyone a sneak preview.
Name: Guitar Boy CommentsSorry to hear about Norm Shrauger....GREAT picker & all around good guy...
Name: Steve Kruppner CommentsI haven't seen anyone mention this yet so, in case no one knows, this is to inform everyone that we lost a fellow musician last Saturday, April 11, with the passing of Norm Shrauger. Norm played in many local bands including Red Creek. He played both steel and 6 string guitar. He was also a pretty good wood worker. He only recently retired from his day job as a DOCS Correction Officer this past March. Norm was 62. His services will be held Saturday, April 25 between 2-6pm at Tomaszewski's.
Name: Michael Murray CommentsJohn Van Goethem of Brother Wind sent me a couple more songs a few days ago. They were re-engineered by Bob Delson from a 35 year old tape. Sounds like they were recorded yesterday. Nice job Bob. Check out Margene and Time Never Grows Old by Brother Wind on the Ramble Jukebox.
Name: Pete & Vicki CommentsHey everyone, Pete is home! I picked him up yesterday. He will have to have daily injections of antibiotics courtesy of me (this could be dangerous). Not sure how long this will be, at least 6 weeks, maybe longer. There are a total of 15 lesions one of which was removed during the surgery. There is a large one that may be resistant to the antibiotics that the doctor may have to go in and get at a later date but we are hoping that the drugs zap it. A visiting nurse will be delivering the antibiotics here once a week and he will also be getting physical therapy at home. We sincerely thank all of you for your prayers and well wishes. Vicki
Name: CommentsHAPPY EASTER RAMBLERS!
Name: Michael Murray CommentsSkip Ebling asked me to post the following message that he received today from Vicki Bordner:

Name: Don Willard CommentsHey Chas,I like your sense of humor. We need more of it these days! Looking forward to a great Ramble this year.
Name: Chas DP CommentsI was just listening to some of the tunes on the ramble Jukebox. What a great vocal of Woody Rowclife singing Desperado with Julius, however, at times I heard a bit of Jerry Lewis in his voice. I think you guys should do a re-make and change the title to chasdelplahdo... Come'on! Lighten up it's a joke. Getting ready for the Ramble.... Chas
Name: Michael Murray Comments
A while back, I received a CD of six songs from Bill McDonald which was
labeled "The Place To Be". I added the songs to the
Ramble Jukebox a few days ago. I knew Chas DelPlato was involved, but I wasn't sure of all the details
so I emailed Chas for more information. He forwarded my email to Sue Gagne.
Name: Michael Murray CommentsSkip Ebling asked me to post the following message that he received today from Diane Tracy regarding Pete Bordner's health: To Skip from Diane: Okay, Sunday update. Pete is in hospital in Buffalo. Apparently he had pneumonia and it went from there. First doctor said brain cancer, then three other doctors took a look. They have not ruled out Brain Cancer but are looking at other areas as well. They have been giving him massive doses of antibiotics and the lesions in his head have gotten a bit smaller. They are hoping that it is a massive infection that can be treated. But as I said they are not ruling out brain cancer yet. They are doing another MRI today and will proceed from there. I will keep you posted. Both Pete and Vicki and the kids are better now that there may be different options. Both are exhausted. D Skip also sent this picture of Pete and Vicki taken at one of the Rambles.
Name: George Richardson CommentsThat Lookout Ridge stuff would sound great on my cassette player in the car. It would have sounded great on the 8 track cassette player I used to have too. If it had come out on vinyl I would own a copy and be playing it on my digital turntable, but this works. I saw my first Batavia Police car drive by the webcam yesterday and a guy on a bicycle rode by with some groceries today.
Name: skip ebling Commentsi just learned yesterday that pete bordner of batavia has been diagnosed with brain cancer. i don't have any other details, but i hope that those of you who know pete and his wife vicki, will keep them in your thoughts and prayers. skip.

Name: Ray CommentsI send a sizeable check to Time Warner each month. If they want that to continue they're experiment will be shortlived.
Name: George Richardson CommentsTime Warner Cable is planning to put usage caps on internet streaming and downloading in four test cities. Austin is one of them and Rochester is another. Once you use 5 gig of bandwidth in a month, it will cost a dollar for each additional Gigabyte of use. People are up in arms here. I exceed that monthly limit on most days, the squeeze is coming. Check this link:http://www.statesman.com/business/content/business/stories/other/04/02/0402timewarner.html
